Groupon Module / Timed Product Sales for Interspire Shopping Cart

With this new add-on you can create a timed sale that will automatically appear and take effect on your site for a set time frame. For instance, you can create a product that will go on sale on December 23rd at 12am and last until December 24th at 6pm. You can assign a title, description sale price and image to the deal which will populate a panel that you can place anywhere on your site. When the time comes for your deal to activate the panel will appear with a countdown timer that ticks down until the deal is over. When the deal ends the product will be returned to its original price. This module was inspired to work somewhat like Groupon. You can have multiple deals running at the same time and queue up as many deals as you need to over any period of time.
If you are not trying to achieve the Groupon style effect this modification can effectively be used as a “Deal of the Day / Week / Month”, or whatever other types of fun and inventive terminology you can come up with.

This add-on comes with a fully features backend administrative tool in the form of an add-on allowing you to see all of your active, queued and previous sales.
