Check out the newest add-on for Google Base
A friend and long time client came to me with an idea the other day. He wanted a module created where he could list all of his products on Google Base, not just base products but the variations of those products as well. He had been playing with some iPhone apps and noticed when scanning a UPC code into programs that searched Google Shopping he found some of his products were showing up. Well, as of ISC 6.1.1 its only possible to assign a UPC code to the base product, but not the variations. So with the help of a new add-on I have created you can list out products by variation and assign UPC codes to each one. Then when you go to export your products, instead of only base products being exported, every product is exported as a record and every variation of that product gets its own individual record. So now its possible to not only multiply your products being uploaded to Google several times, depending on how many variations you use, but it is possible to assign unique UPC codes to each product variant for maximum exposure on Google Shopping! Fun stuff indeed 😉
